Episode 15 - Heresy Book Club Part 2 (Books 5–8)

For hobby progress, Mark assembles a box of Warhammer Fantasy models for Heroscape, while Kurt begins repainting his Drukhari vehicles. On the tabletop, Kurt tests out a new Genestealer Cult list against Austin’s Space Marines - and let’s just say it didn’t go according to plan.

The main event is Heresy Book Club Part 2, where Kurt and Mark cover the highlights of Fulgrim, Descent of Angels, Legion, and Battle for the Abyss - full of lore, drama, and plenty of spoilers.

Episode 14 - Randomness in Wargaming

Mark continues trimming down his collection and paints up a unit of Krieg for a non-Warhammer game, while Kurt makes big strides on his Genestealer Cult - finishing four units, magnetizing bases, and experimenting with colored grass tufts. He also prints some impressive destroyed Warlord Titan terrain and squeezes in half a game against Jackson’s Thousand Sons.

This week’s main topic: randomness in wargaming. The guys dive into the role of chance, from the swing of dice rolls to the old templates vs. blasts debate, and even the idea of shifting Warhammer to a completely different dice system.

Episode 13 - Wishlisting 40K Units

The community says goodbye to a local FLGS, and the guys ask the important question: do purchases count as hobby progress? Mark picks up a Saturnine box and clears out some of his pile of shame, while Kurt introduces the concept of the “Miniverse” and gets started painting his 30K Death Guard.

On the gaming front, Mark faces off against Austin in a game of 40K and then runs an intro game of BLKOUT.

For this week’s main topic, Kurt and Mark dive into some good old-fashioned wishlisting - discussing what new units or models they’d love to see added to each current Warhammer 40K army.

Webway Radio Episode 12 - Sportsmanship in Warhammer is now available!

Mark makes strides on his Imperial Fists, including some slick kitbashed Vanguard Veterans, while Kurt 3D prints, assembles, and paints a Custodes Grav-Tank, and prints a Telemon Dreadnought.

Mark pitches a fun idea: running a massive Space Hulk game with friends. The duo also face off in a thrilling Warhammer 40K match- Custodes vs. Imperial Fists - using the White Dwarf Bunker Missions, and have an absolute blast.

This episode’s main topic is sportsmanship in Warhammer. The guys share both great and not-so-great examples from their experiences, and what makes for a good opponent.

Episode 11 – Heresy Book Club: Books 1–4

Mark keeps the hobby momentum going with more Seraphon builds and adds Marneus Calgar to his Imperial Fists, while Kurt tackles the ultimate challenge: cleaning his hobby room.

Kurt hosts a laid-back hobby day—complete with smoked ribs—and squeezes in a game against Austin. His Genestealer Cult takes on Space Marines in a 2,000-point Warhammer 40K match using a White Dwarf “Bunker” mission, and the GSC come out swinging.

The main focus of this episode is the Horus Heresy , where the guys give a rundown of the first four books of the Horus Heresy series. Expect plenty of spoilers as they discuss the rise and tragic fall of Horus, and the dramatic escape of Nathaniel Garro from the Isstvan system.

Episode 9 -  Getting Started in the Hobby 

This week, Mark’s hobby progress hits a pause, while Kurt wraps up some work on his Kruleboyz and makes a trip to Huntsville to grab the new General’s Handbook. He also kicks off a new Fyreslayers army - this time for his wife, Jordan!

Both Mark and Kurt get their Age of Sigmar Escalation League games in, and then dive into the main topic: How to Get Started in the Hobby.
